The content of IHRDC’s e-Learning courses covers four major categories: Upstream Technology, Petroleum Business, Business Essentials and Operations & Maintenance. The courses work on standard web browsers and use generally available plug-ins like Flash or WMV and are available on IHRDC’s server, Corporate Learning Management System, or on client intranets. “In the past few years, Internet speeds and capacities have improved to the point where our product line can be offered globally, on-line. We are thrilled to announce that we recently made IPIMS, our upstream technology product, available to our clients on the iPad. We are looking at how we can deliver e-Learning to places where the Internet isn’t possible or even onto new platforms like the slim tablet.” Timothy Donohue, Vice President of e-Learning Solutions at IHRDC.
