Audio Expo North America (AXPONA), the East Coast's premier high performance audio show, has been named an official partner event of CE Week in New York. The two-day trade and consumer expo at the Affinia Hotel on 7th Avenue, June 24-25, 2011, will be held in conjunction with CEA Demo Suites and Conference, one of CE Week's official trade events, creating a single, high-end audio and home technology focused event for press, trade and consumers. Stereophile and Home Theater magazines — official partners with AXPONA — as well as CustomRetailer magazine, has been named media sponsors of the all-new AXPONA New York City, the first high-end audio show to arrive in New York in over four years.
AXPONA New York City will kick off with a trade and media-only morning on June 24, featuring CustomRetailer magazine’s Technology Lifestyle Summit, produced by Editor-in-Chief Maureen Jensen, which will focus on new developments in home automation, lighting control, energy management and integrated audio and video. The conference will also feature sessions on high-resolution downloads, computer audio and storage mediums and how they affect music playback as it pertains to high-quality audio and video systems. Consumers will be admitted to the exhibits and educational conferences at 1:00 p.m., June 24, and all day June 25.
