NonProfit Times Magazine names Educational Housing Services one of the Best NonProfit Organizations to work for.

Educational Housing Services Inc., a provider of safe and convenient off-campus housing solutions for college students and interns, has been named one of the Best NonProfit Organizations to Work for 2011 by The NonProfit Times magazine. The awards program, now in its second year, identifies and recognizes the 50 best nonprofit places of employment. Honorees are selected based upon a rigorous screening process that includes administering surveys to each organizations’ management, staff, and clients or other business partners. Organizations are evaluated based upon eight core capabilities including leadership and planning, corporate culture and communications, work environment, training and development, among other key criteria.

Since 1987, Educational Housing Services Inc. has provided safe and convenient New York City off-campus housing for college and university students, as well as summer interns. From its’ start, EHS has partnered with academic institutions and companies on a contractual basis to provide housing facilities as a part of their overall residence life program. EHS manages multiple properties throughout New York City and Brooklyn, and offers fully furnished accommodations with complete amenity packages. Students may secure housing by semester or for a full year and have the opportunity to live in a community of their peers while pursuing their academic, personal and professional goals.
