Mohini Indian Fusions, a Turlock-based company specializing in Indian spice blends, has begun to sell their spices in all Mollie Stone’s markets in the Bay Area.

Mohini Indian Fusions, a Turlock-based company specializing in Indian spice blends, announced that they have begun to sell their spices in all Mollie Stone’s markets. This announcement comes after the grand opening of the Castro district Mollie Stone’s in San Francisco, where her new Tandoori rotisserie chicken was offered and received positive feedback.

Mohini Rabine, creator of Mohini Indian Fusions, started the company in 2009. “I [had begun] teaching classes on healthy and traditional Indian Cuisine. People loved the classes, loved the food and loved the recipes… but I soon realized that the main questions were always, ‘Do I have to use all these spices?’ and ‘Where can I get them?’ For Indian food there was a roadblock and I was determined to empower people to cook these great meals at home.” She produces and packages eight spice blends, which she has sold online, at farmer’s markets, and through small retailers throughout the state. In addition, Indian Fusions offers cooking classes, in-home dining and semi-regular Friday night takeout by email reservation, announced to her customers by email, Facebook and Twitter on the preceding Monday.

Mohini Indian Fusions has been featured at the New York Fancy Food Show, online at winewoot.com, Williams Sonoma, and every weekend at the Modesto Farmer’s Market. Her spices are available throughout California at the Village Fresh Market in Turlock, the Greens Market in Modesto, the Hilmar Cheese Company in Hilmar, and the Roblar Winery in Santa Ynez. The spices are also available to order online at http://www.indianfusions.com and will now be offered at all Mollie Stone’s markets in the Bay Area.

Mollie Stone’s Markets operates nine stores and is headquartered in Mill Valley, CA. The company was founded in 1985 by Mike Stone and David Bennett, and is committed to providing the best possible shopping experience for their customers. They are proud to be “a big supermarket with the heart of a small store.” Mollie Stone’s caters to the customer “who is full of passion for local and hand-made” and strives to provide the “best of both worlds” to their customers: necessity and passion. Mollie Stone’s says they are very excited to offer Mohini’s spices.
