ModiFace-Powered Virtual Tool utilizes advanced facial recognition and HTML 5 based on StriVectin's extensive clinical studies

ModiFace, a leading provider of virtual makeover technologies, together with StriVectin®, the largest independent prestige anti-aging skin care company, today announced the launch of a fully-automated virtual anti-aging results tool on http://www.strivectin.com. The tool allows users to upload a photo, and instantly applies facial recognition algorithms to detect the face and to simulate skin repair results after 2, 4, and 8 weeks of twice daily use of StriVectin’s anti-aging products. These virtual results are based on the actual data points derived from StriVectin’s extensive clinical studies for StriVectin-SD™ Intensive Concentrate for Stretch Marks & Wrinkles and StriVectin-SD™ Eye Concentrate for Wrinkles. The resulting images can be shared via Facebook, email, or posted on Twitter.

One of the unique aspects of the tool is that it was built entirely based on HTML 5, which instantly makes it compatible across a wide variety of smart phones and tablets, including the iPad.

“When launching the new StriVectin-SD formulas, we conducted extensive clinical studies with an independent lab and were amazed by the remarkable anti-aging results, and incredible before and after photography. We wanted to find a compelling way to bring these results to women everywhere with a personalized interactive makeover tool, and our partnership with ModiFace has done just that,” said Jill Scalamandre, Chief Marketing Officer of StriVectin.

“We are very excited about the many possibilities of utilizing this tool across a variety of different platforms including our web site, our Facebook community, and at store level with our retail partners, to reach our consumers,” Scalamandre said.

“We are delighted by our partnership with StriVectin and the launch of this very unique tool. We are particularly excited that StriVectin has fully utilized this HTML tool across so many different platforms including web, Facebook, and the iPad,” said Dr. Parham Aarabi, founder and CEO of ModiFace.

The tool can be accessed from any browser, device, or tablet (including Android and iPad tablets) at http://www.strivectin.com. Facebook users can also utilize a version of the tool with additional social features at http://apps.facebook.com/strivectin.
