Benedictine University announces its sponsorship of the April 21 meeting of the Young Professionals of Chicago (YPC), to be held at the Metropolitan Club on at the Willis Tower (233 South Wacker), from 6:00-8:00 pm CDT.
The event will feature distinguished panelists who will discuss the impact of digital marketing and media in today's business environment. Open networking will be held from 6:00-6:30 pm, with the panel discussion beginning at 6:30 pm. Immediately following will be a question-and-answer session as well as additional networking with the presenters and other guests.
Guest speakers will include Craig Pines, CEO and president of Deltak, a provider of online technology and marketing services for colleges and universities; John Endrud, vice president of marketing for Deltak; and Mick Carroll, Ph.D., dean of the Moser College of Adult and Professional Studies at Benedictine University. "Deltak is excited to partner with the Young Professionals of Chicago (YPC) and create a forum to discuss the evolution of technology in the educational space. As the next generation of business leaders, it is crucial that young professionals become fluent in digital marketing and media practices. This program will discuss the impact of digital marketing and media in today's business environment and provide a behind-the-scenes look at the business of online education," says Pines.
These panelists will provide a behind-the-scenes perspective about online education with a discussion about the marketing of online degree programs, as well as insight concerning the efforts of traditional universities to remain competitive in this new digital age. This event underscores the necessity of digital fluency among young professionals who want to fully understand the changing roles of digital marketing and media and how it can directly or indirectly impact their career goals.
