Pepperdine University to Bring Chick-Fil-A Leadercast to Southern California

Pepperdine-hosted live broadcast event on Friday, May 6 from 8 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Malibu offers leadership insights from Seth Godin, John Maxwell, Good Morning America's Robin Roberts, Muhtar Kent, Mack Brown and others

Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management in Malibu will be a host site for Chick-fil-A's Leadercast, a one-day leadership event broadcast LIVE via satellite and internet, on Friday, May 6 from 8 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Open to the public and ideal for students of all ages, the Atlanta-based simulcast features a premier collection of brilliant minds intent on communicating the art and science of whole leadership.

Speakers will include Dan Cathy, president and chief operating officer of Chick-fil-A Inc.; marketing expert Seth Godin; John Maxwell, author of "The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership"; Robin Roberts of Good Morning America; Muhtar Kent, chief executive officer of the Coca-Cola Co.; Mack Brown, head coach of the University of Texas Longhorns; and personal money management expert Dave Ramsey.

In its 11th year, Leadercast's vision is to make catalysts for change and provide resources for intentional leadership development well after the event. According to the event's web site, the entire program is built around what they call the five voices of leadership which include hope, influence, innovation, purpose and service.

The Leadercast takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. May 6 in Drescher Auditorium at Pepperdine University, 24255 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu. Registration is $59 per ticket for individuals or $49 per ticket for groups of three or more. Admission includes a catered lunch, as well as morning and afternoon refreshments.
