DIY online market research platform releases new product: Carte blanch research scaled up for the big guns.

GutCheck lets you chat with your potential customers in real-time

"We’re still freakishly affordable even on a large scale. What’s different is now an account planner or corporate brand leader has the pricing to go test an idea with her customers immediately, without worrying about budget or time."

Ad: GutCheck announced today the availability of GutCheck Team Edition, its newest offering aimed specifically at advertising agencies, marketing organizations and corporate innovation teams. Now teams of people working for larger companies and agencies can gain immediate consumer insights without the cost and hassle of traditional focus groups. Large organizations now have the freedom to investigate new lines of research that crop up on the fly, without having to have set up large research budgets ahead of time.

“The founding principle of GutCheck was to let anyone get high-quality customer insights, instantly and affordably. What we’re announcing today is a continuation of that philosophy but on a larger scale, because even big organizations want quality while watching their bottom line,” said Matt Warta, CEO and co-founder of GutCheck. “Now the big guys get GutCheck's same amazing, instant and affordable consumer insights, tricked out with the cross-team collaboration and reporting that larger teams need.”

“Put it this way,” added Warta, “we’re still freakishly affordable even on a large scale. What’s different is now an account planner or corporate brand leader has the pricing to go test an idea with her customers immediately, without worrying about budget or time. We’re just bringing qualitative research in line with the rest of the Now economy.”

GutCheck Team brings changes in scale and functionality specifically requested by larger organizations. GutCheck Teams can collaborate on picking who they want to interview; what they want to ask them; what media they want to show them; conduct multiple simultaneous interviews, and then they can tackle the task of garnering the keys insights they are looking for, and finally, they view the interview transcripts in a single unified PDF. GutCheck Team will be sold on an annual per user, subscription license. GutCheck’s regular edition is sold for $40 per customer chat, or is bundled at a discounted price.

Winning the top prize at DEMO in March, GutCheck has been turning industry heads for taking the long, tedious, and expensive process of organizing focus groups and other qualitative methods and simplifying them by putting the process all online. At the heart of GutCheck’s technology is its patent-pending recruitment engine, which can sort through its panel of 5+ million plus research participants, with professional-grade search parameters in a matter of moments, to find exactly the right consumer to be interviewed, right then, right there.
