Los Angeles Unified Schools Selects Maximum Potential as a Partner to Help Students with Autism

LAUSD with over 9000 kids with autism recently selected Maximum Potential Group and its video based autism training program to help educate staff who work with students on the autism spectrum.

The Los Angeles Unified School District the second largest school district in the United States with over 9000 students with autism has selected Maximum Potential’s video based autism training as one of the districts new programs to further develop knowledge and expertise in working with their students on the autism spectrum. This program allows the Los Angeles Unified District to access on-demand educational videos for members of the school staff that works with students with ASD at approximately 70 of their schools.

"We are pleased to have this opportunity," said Nancy Franklin, Director of Least Restrictive Environment. "It is our expectation that our schools use a multi-tiered model for instruction and intervention. Having this material available to our teams enhances our work, especially when we utilize the training with coaching."

Maximum Potential’s modules allow teachers, families, administrators and para educators to learn new techniques at their own pace and review the material throughout the year. The program is an extremely efficient way to train as it is organized into informative and easy to understand modules
