Santa Monica-based builder/ developer Pacific Cove Development, Inc. (PCD), is proud to announce that its new 21st at MONTANA town home community will be one of a handful of projects featured on the 2011 Santa Monica Green Building Open House on Saturday, April 16, 2011 (10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.). The event kicks off the upcoming AltBuild Expo, which attracts approximately 8,000 visitors annually.

21st at MONTANA (http://www.21statMontana.com), which is nearing completion, consists of six new, contemporary town homes. It will be the first dual-branded project in Santa Monica, as PCD is pursuing both LEED for Homes-Gold through the United States Green Building Council (http://www.usgbc.org/leed/homes), as well as the Green Point Rated designation through the California organization Build It Green (http://www.builditgreen.org/greenpoint-rated/).

PCD has invited its builder partners to speak about their products and systems used throughout the 21st at MONTANA project. Builder Partners include: Grohe, Toto, Permacity Solar, Progressive Insulation, A.O. Smith, Hydro Systems, Liton Lighting, DoubleGreen Landscapes, Nisus Corporation, Fleetwood Windows, Corbin Russwin/ASSA ABLOY, Vista Paint and Clean Fuel Connection.

The 21st at MONTANA town homes will feature expansive, roof decks with ocean, city and mountain views, an abundance of natural light, an open floor plan with high-ceilings, a dramatic, stainless steel glass-enclosed stair system, Energy Star appliances, fans and lights, water-saving kitchen and bath fixtures and toilets, pre-wiring for individual, 240-volt electrical vehicle charging stations, roof top solar panels, and direct home access from private, two-car garages.

Award-winning architect William Hefner (http://www.williamhefner.com), who has completed both custom homes and multifamily projects in Santa Monica and throughout Southern California, as well as internationally, has directed particular attention to the exterior and interior of these sleek, modern town homes.
