Asia's leading enterprise IT publisher - Fairfax Business Media Asia (FBM Asia) - has strengthened its internet presence with four new and distinct websites for its enterprise IT magazines.

FBM Asia publishes Computerworld Singapore (http://www.computerworld.com.sg), Computerworld Malaysia, (http://www.computerworld.com.my) and the regional MIS Asia (http://www.mis-asia.com) and CIO Asia (http://www.cio-asia.com) magazines to a total database of more than 27,000 C-level executives, senior IT executives and managers across Asia.

From March 2011 FBM'S comprehensive content will no longer be provided through a centralized web portal, but through individual magazine web sites with a comprehensive range of social networking, feedback, search and multi-media features.

The means there are now separate sites for Computerworld Malaysia, Computerworld Singapore and the two regional magazines - MIS Asia and CIO Asia.

FBM magazines draw on the more than 300 enterprise IT magazines across the world licensed to the International Data Group (IDG) and also the considerable resources of its parent company, Fairfax Media, Australia's biggest publisher.

FBM Asia regional manager, Mark Hobson said the new websites have been designed to re-focus the individual branding of each magazine's web presence and to provide a greater range of magazine-specific information to subscribers.

Hobson said the new websites were part of a greater digital media focus for FBM, which includes 20 weekly e-newsletters, expert blogs, features, breaking news, drawing upon the global content produced by more than 300 IDG magazines.

"Our subscribers will now be able to choose between the targeted content of our four magazines, which are very regularly updated via a new and efficient content management system (CMS)," he said. "This is a major strengthening of our web presence and will bring considerable benefits to our users, plus greater opportunities for our advertisers."

"This expansion of our digital services aims to provide subscribers with more niche information in the way they've said they want it," Hobson said. "Our subscribers and readers have told us they want the magazines contained in specific web sites. We have listened and taken action.
