According to Allison Wittern, Public Information and Special Events Manager for the City of Centennial, “The purpose of the City of Centennial's Web site is to have dynamic and up-to-date information available for the residents of Centennial. The objective is to offer relevant and up-to-date information, provide transparency to residents and taxpayers, allow interactive government with online requests for service and provide e-commerce opportunities with online payments and scheduling.”

Award finalists offer an array of features and functionality that cause them to surpass websites in their class. The Juggle.com government awards editors hand-selected this year’s Top Local Government Award recipients by evaluating a variety of site features and functionality, including usability, timely content, access to e- government services and technological innovation.

“The citizens have helped us grow in the area of e-government with the additional functionalities of paying sales tax returns online, scheduling passport appointments, viewing the City Council Meetings, accessing the City's expenditures (transparency) and more. Our citizens play a vital role in ensuring that we are reaching them effectively with helpful tools,” noted Wittern.
