At the same time education budgets are being cut, more than two million educators are gearing up to implement the new Common Core Standards and meet digital learning initiatives such as the one proposed in a bill currently under consideration by the Indiana legislature which would make classroom instruction digital by 2014.

With education changes coming down the pipeline, math educators from across the nation have come together in Indianapolis for the 2011 National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Conference (NCTM), April 13-16, to acquire the tools necessary for implementing these changes and helping students develop 21st century math skills. They will be looking for the “solutions that improve outcomes" that Arne Duncan, Secretary of Education is pushing for.

At NCTM, Whizz Education is providing educators with access to the solutions that improve student achievement in math, by providing free access to Math-Whizz for one month so they can fully evaluate the program at their school, with their students. “With budgets being cut across the board it is more important than ever for educators to know that they are making the correct decision when they choose a digital math program to implement in their district or school. Piloting a product with their own students, using technology available at their sites gives educators the ability to make informed decisions about what will get them the best sustainable results. We are confident that Math-Whizz is that tool,” says Ben Keogh, CEO of Whizz Education.

Educators can learn more about the Common Core Standards and what they can do to meet digital curriculum directives, as well as register for a site based pilot at NCTM by visiting the Math-Whizz booth 1141.
