Best of Show Award Winners:

Denodo Platform announced their new version 4.7 that advances the integration with Enterprise Ecosystems and the Cloud. It delivers relevant information to business users when they need it, while increasing flexibility and time to information and for less cost. Data Virtualization abstracts data from disparate sources and integrates them virtually into Business Views.

The Microway BioStack-LS™ is a modular, extensible cluster for life science researchers. With 84 cores and 14 GPUs it provides dense compute power that's easy to use. With over 15 TFLOPS of InfiniBand-connected computing power spread over 6272 GPU and 84 x86 CPU cores, the BioStack-LS provides vastly superior performance to traditional compute clusters. To ensure ease of use it is equipped with Bright Computing advanced cluster management tools for node monitoring, rapid deployment of new nodes, and full GPU integration and management.

NextDocs is the leading provider of Microsoft SharePoint-based Document and Quality Management solutions to the life sciences industries. NextDocs Clinical offers clients their choice of implementing our solutions using either SharePoint 2007 or SharePoint 2010 - Microsoft's award-winning web-based collaboration platform. NextDocs extends SharePoint's robust feature set to address the rigorous regulatory requirements that govern global biopharmaceutical organizations.

Open Eye's FastROCS is the resultant application that achieves the goal of dramatically improving the "time to answer" of 3D shape similarity searches. FastROCS facilitates a complete redesign of the traditional virtual screening workflow. Virtual screening is typically run in batches on in-‐house Linux clusters. This approach required dedicated molecular modeler time or extensive in-‐house customization. FastROCS runs so fast it is not bound by the traditional Linux cluster batch processing system. FastROCS runs on a single GPU compute server as a web service that any modeler or chemist can query. Used in this manner, FastROCS provides bona fide 3D modeling results on the same time scale as a simple cheminformatics database query.
