Mike Gruhn, vice president of 360 Technologies says “Business is good right now with customers searching for parts to repair their HP equipment. We aren’t selling as many systems but we’re making up for it on parts."

When the economy slows, many business owners respond by cutting back. In this economy more people are choosing to repair computers, equipment and peripherals rather than purchase new equipment. The same has been true over the years for automobiles with people paying to maintain their old car until the economy turns around.
360 Technologies has recently re-signed as an HP Parts Partner. Business is booming for HP Computer parts brokers like 360 Technologies, Inc. based out of Austin, Texas. Mike Gruhn, vice president of 360 Technologies says “Business is good right now with customers searching for parts to repair their HP equipment. We aren’t selling as many systems but we’re making up for it on parts. It pays off anytime people save a little bit of money, that gives them more to pour back into the economy in other areas.”
In an article posted on yahoonews.com it says “The U.S. economy is heading in the right direction and will pick up steam over the next two years, but high unemployment and low inflation still paint an unsatisfactory picture.” That was according to New York Federal Reserve President William Dudley. Dudley is considered one of the more dovish members of the Fed's policy-setting committee and as head of the New York Fed has a permanent voting seat on the panel. "The economy is healthier, but it is not yet well," Dudley said in remarks prepared for a press briefing.
Companies like 360 Technologies, Inc. offer a full line of current & discontinued Hewlett Packard parts. They carry off the shelf stock on obsolete or hard-to-get items as well as their parts and accessories. According to 360, the majority of sales are on upgrades like HP memory or hard drives for workstations and servers. Second would be the maintenance kits and parts for HP Designjet plotters and printers. In times like this it just makes sense to repair instead of spending more money on new equipment but if a company decides to buy new, 360 will buy their old equipment and turn it into spare parts.
