The new 3D cameras make it possible to use the same technology that was used to shoot AVATAR

TomCat Films LLC has completed principle photography of it's new Real 3D slasher film, BLOODY MARY 3D, based on the urban legend told by teenagers all over the world of a scorned murdered beauty who seeks violent revenge and travels through mirrors. "I believe in Bloody Mary" is the incantation that brings her forth when spoken three times while staring into a mirror, legend has it.
The film stars Penthouse Pet and Runner up for Pet of the Year 2010, Veronica Ricci. "Veronica is a great find for the role. It was practically made for her", says producer Dave Sterling of Sterling Entertainment, a co-presenter on the film. "Veronica has risen up in the modeling world and stands out among the Pets as one of their most popular models."
Also starring is cult film star Ron Jeremy, adult film star Shay Golden and newcomer Alena Savostikova. The story tells of Bloody Mary's origins at the turn of the 20th century and how she returns in the modern age to seek revenge on the descendent of her killer.
Sterling has produced several 3D films in the past, and this is his first Real 3D production. "I am used to shooting with two cameras... the old school way. The new 3D cameras make it possible to use the same technology that was used to shoot AVATAR."
Charlie Vaughn, who directed VAMPIRE BOYS, is also helming here.
Arizona based TomCat Films LLC was formed in 2006 by a financing entity to produce low budget films for the world market. Recently released productions include METAL MAN, ALICE IN MURDERLAND, and STAR QUEST: THE ODYSSEY. BLOODY MARY 3D is scheduled to be released in the U.S. later in 2011.
