Financial Management Solutions, Inc. (FMSI) announced today the release of their Lobby Tracking System™ (LTS) on the Apple iPad. LTS allows guests to self check-in for lobby services – replacing tired paper sign-ins and reducing the requirements for branch staff to collect and confirm information when facing guests. Availability of LTS on the iPad reduces cost for installation by 80%, occupies a smaller footprint and provides a familiar user interface.
“Typical installation of a kiosk is cumbersome and costly, requiring a touch screen monitor, a workstation, related signage and the millwork to fabricate the shell of the kiosk,” explains John E. Schneider, LTS Program Manager for FMSI. “With LTS on the iPad, we have eliminated the custom physical requirements, and much of the technological expense of installing a traditional kiosk, and are seeing our banking customers get the hardware for their terminals up and running for $1,000 instead of $5,000.”
LTS allows a bank or credit union customer entering the branch to join the line electronically so they get to the right person faster to address their needs for loans, investments or other products. LTS operates like other self-service kiosk applications, allowing customers to enter and update their own information rather than waiting for a staff member. With LTS on the iPad, branches will have the option of using a free-standing podium or making the iPad accessible on a table or counter in their waiting area.
