To Help People Living With Mental Illness

The Gene Bertoncini Trio, who have performed with such jazz greats as Benny Goodman, Herb Ellis, Zoot Sims, Chet Baker, Buddy Rich, Paul Desmond, Tony Bennett and Dave Brubeck, will help celebrate the work of Laurel House on Sunday, May 15. They will perform at the Woodway Beach Club located on Shippan Point, with spectacular views across Long Island Sound Sunday, May 15, 11:30a.m.-2:30p.m. at Woodway Beach Club, 95 Hobson Street, Stamford, CT.

From May 2-May 8, The Open Mind Art Show with work of artists of the Laurel House will be held at Christ Church, 216 E. Putnam Ave. in Greenwich, CT.

Laurel House provides resources and opportunities for people living with mental illness to lead fulfilling and productive lives in their communities. Through Laurel House, people living with mental illness can and do: regain their self worth and confidence, restart their lives, recover and develop new skills, reintegrate back into their communities through employment, education and service.
