Bay Vibes leverages Enconcert product platforms at Sugar Rush benefit concert for Diabetes

Bay Vibes, a premier promoter of live music events in the San Francisco Bay Area, today announced a partnership with Enconcert for the April 22nd Sugar Rush fundraising concert for the American Diabetes Association. Bay Vibes will use Enconcert’s ONSTAGE™ technology platform to capture, produce and live-broadcast the concert on the internet to fans worldwide. Additionally, fans can use Enconcert’s BACKSTAGE PASS™ iPhone App to participate in the Sugar Rush concert by contributing real-time photos and videos to the Live Web Broadcast stream.

“We are thrilled to be the first Bay Area promoter to get access to this breakthrough technology,” said Robin Applewood, Founder of Bay Vibes. “Enconcert’s products not only help bands strengthen their fan ties by facilitating social interaction with each other and the artists at live events, they provide fans with access to live concert content in way that was previously unattainable. We are excited for the additional fundraising potential this brings to Sugar Rush this year.”

For a $5 donation, fans receive a “virtual ticket” to watch the Live Web Broadcast of the Sugar Rush concert in its entirety, beginning at 9 PM PST on April 22. The performance will also be available for a single On-Demand replay afterwards.

“Using Enconcert’s technology at Sugar Rush is ideal because it not only allows people to watch the show and participate online, but also contribute to the cause to Stop Diabetes, even if they can’t get to the city that night” states Janice Bross, Director of Development of the San Francisco Bay Area office of the American Diabetes Association.

“The Sugar Rush benefit concert is an excellent example of how Enconcert’s platforms not only increase the overall viewing audience, but also allow fans to create a personalized experience by becoming a part of and contributing to the concert through social interaction and real time photo and video sharing,” said Ted Vucurevich, Enconcert CEO.

The Sugar Rush benefit concert will take place 8 pm to 2 am, April 22nd at Rasselas Main Stage, 1534 Fillmore Street, in San Francisco. All proceeds will be donated to the American Diabetes Association. The concert will feature performances by The Jay Trainer Band, Ziva, Pebble Theory, Mavalour, For The Broken, and others.
