Our team has done a fantastic job meeting and exceeding the needs of our clients. We are looking forward to what our new team members will provide the firm in terms of experience sets and what their abilities will mean to the companies we work with.

For a firm that dedicates itself to helping clients realize growth potential, it should come as no surprise that CMG Partners (CMGP) has its own goals for continued growth. In line with those plans for 2011 and beyond, the strategic marketing consulting firm recently added Donna Cargas, Tricia Gabberty, Todd Redmon, Phil Keith, Leah Rios Ewasko and Lexi Wolfe to its staff to further support of CMGP clients, augment key competencies within the firm and expand the firm’s services to new business communities.

Coming from 30-percent year-over-year revenue growth in 2010, growth numbers are trending to eclipse that same rate through the first quarter of 2011. “Our team has done a fantastic job meeting and exceeding the needs of our clients,” said Rich Beatty, a Founding Co-Partner of CMGP. “We are looking forward to what our new team members will provide the firm in terms of experience sets and what their abilities will mean to the companies we work with.”

These six additions to CMGP bring with them over a century of marketing and strategy experience, with management and executive-level positions with companies such as MasterCard Worldwide, Colgate-Palmolive, Avis Rent-A-Car, The Home Depot, Citigroup and Brown Shoe. CMGP’s new additions also have extensive backgrounds in agency and consulting roles, having worked for established firms like DMB&B, Cone, Momentum, Arnold Worldwide, The History Factory and NPD Group.

With the new members to the CMGP team, the firm also recently announced the addition of a Private Equity practice that aims to provide PE firms with support around all aspects of their portfolio companies, including strategy, corporate development and operations expertise. “The focus on the Private Equity community is a natural fit for CMGP,” said Russ Lange, Founding Co-Partner of CMGP. “We can provide guidance and support across virtually all activities associated with PE firms and their portfolio companies, and our shared vision of profitable, sustainable growth will allow us to create great relationships within this community.”

Redmon, an experienced private equity industry veteran, will spearhead this practice for the firm. He joins CMGP from a Principal role at Vinings Growth Partners, a boutique provider of strategy, corporate development and operations improvement for PE firms and hedge funds. Prior to this, he was a Vice President at American Capital, one of the largest PE firms in the world.

CMGP’s recent additions further bolster the firm’s staff with an employee footprint that now includes Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Durham, NC, CMGP’s corporate headquarters.
