Danny Pudi, star of NBC's hit comedy Community will host the annual Night of Dreams Gala for Have Dreams, a Chicago-area autism resource nonprofit organization.

NBC Star and Chicago Native Set to Host Autism Benefit

Danny Pudi, star of NBC’s hit comedy Community has recently announced he will be emceeing the 3rd Annual Night of Dreams Gala for the Chicago-area nonprofit and autism resource center, Have Dreams. Pudi expressed his enthusiasm in the upcoming event:

“I am extremely excited to join Have Dreams in their 'Night of Dreams Gala' on May, 6th. My family and I have been involved with the organization for the past few years and are honored to work with a group that makes a positive impact on the autism community in Chicago. The night promises to be exciting and will include a lively auction. And just an FYI, my mom will be aggressively bidding on the Dancing with the Stars package.”

The Night of Dreams Gala will be held on May 6, 2011 at the JW Marriott, 151 W. Adams in Chicago. All proceeds from the event go towards helping Have Dreams’ renowned autism programs and intervention services. The gala will honor The Robert R. McCormick Foundation, President and CEO David D. Hiller.

“The Robert R. McCormick Foundation is honored to be part of this year’s Night of Dreams. What Have Dreams does is unparalleled in the autism community and is crucial in helping children with autism realize their full potential and become active and engaged members of the community” said David Hiller, President and CEO.

The evening will feature cocktails and dinner followed by a live auction with celebrated charity auctioneer, David Goodman of Auction Results. A few of the amazing live auction items will include a chance to throw out the first pitch at a Chicago Cubs game, attend a taping of Dancing with the Stars, a meet and greet with Josh Groban as well as two priority seats to his show at the United Center, a VIP tour of Warner Bros. studio with Scot Armstrong, the writer of The Hangover Part II to go along with two tickets to the Primetime Emmy Awards and all-access event passes to Niche Media’s LA CONFIDENTIAL post Emmy’s party.

Have Dreams is excited to announce Michigan Avenue Magazine will be the exclusive print media partner for the 2011 Night of Dreams Gala. Have Dreams is also proud to have the J.B. & M.K.
