Jean Chatzky and Credit.com Team Up To Help Consumers Dig Out of Debt

As millions of consumers struggle daily to manage their personal debt, Credit.com, a leading consumer education and financial resource website, has joined with bestselling author and money expert Jean Chatzky to embark on the Debt Diet Challenge. Chatzky will be writing about the program for Credit.com as participants go through it, and will be working one-on-one with those participating in the challenge.

As millions of consumers struggle daily to manage their personal debt, Credit.com, a leading consumer education and financial resource website, has joined with bestselling author and money expert Jean Chatzky to embark on the Debt Diet Challenge.

Chatzky created the Debt Diet program with a team of behavioral scientists to tackle the problem of debt by looking at how people make healthy decisions in their lives (read a Credit.com article about the Debt Diet to learn more here). She is opening up the program to five Credit.com readers who are themselves deep in debt. Each participant will blog about their progress and the efficacy of the program in general.

Chatzky will be writing about the program for Credit.com as participants go through it, and will be working one-on-one with those participating in the challenge.

The problem is getting ourselves to both start and stick with it,” says Chatzky. “The strategies we've incorporated into The Debt Diet have been able to help hundreds of people do both.
