MSA Executive Search, the executive search practice of healthcare consulting firm, Integrated Healthcare Strategies (IHStrategies), has been retained to lead a national Chief Administrative Officer search for The Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida/Lee Memorial Health System in Fort Myers, FL.
The Chief Administrative Officer is a newly-created position, replacing an Executive Director of The Children's Hospital. The role was elevated to CAO based upon growth and planned building of a new hospital.
"The Chief Administrative Officer for The Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida (TCH) is a one-of-a-kind professional opportunity for the right leader to help build Americas newest children's hospital," said Jane Groves, Executive Vice President of executive search for Integrated Healthcare Strategies.
The 98-bed TCH, part of Lee Memorial Health System (LMHS), originally opened in 1994, and is currently located within the HealthPark Medical Center in beautiful south Fort Myers, Florida. It is the only comprehensive children's hospital between Tampa and Miami. TCH serves children from a five-county area (Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades), from infancy through age 18 with critical injuries and catastrophic illnesses, and has the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) between Tampa and Miami, and the only regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center, with one of the top survival rates for babies among the 11 Regional Perinatal Centers in Florida. A Ronald McDonald House is also onsite. TCH is seeking a CAO with a track record of success in working collaboratively within a highly matrixed organization, a passion for children's healthcare and a strong combination of relevant experience, qualifications, personal qualities, and demonstrated leadership.
