In continuation to 2010, iCMG (a global Enterprise & IT Architecture Firm) is happy to invite nomination for its annual Enterprise & IT Architecture Excellence Awards competition. This will be a great opportunity for the enterprises and individuals who are creating successful and enduring systems & enterprises to showcase their remarkable works and get noticed by the global audience.

In 2010, we received overwhelming response for the awards. We received nominations from over 21 countries. Finally, 21 award winners in 15 categories walked home with awards of excellence amidst enough fanfare at the Awards night organized by iCMG on 27th July 2010.

These international awards will be conferred again this year on architects and organization for significant achievements in the field of Enterprise and IT Architecture. This year, awards will be given in the four categories.

1)The first category i.e. Technical categories, consist of awards for SOA Vision for Enterprise Services, Future IT (Web 2.0, Cloud and other emerging technologies), Open Source Technologies and IS Security Architecture.

2)The second award category i.e. Business categories, consist of awards for Startups, Growing business in new territory or new service offering, Customer Oriented Business Models, Business Intelligence and Analytics and Business Process Management.

3) The third category i.e. Enterprise (Business and IT) categories, include awards for Acquisition and Mergers, Transformation and Planning, IT Landscape Rationalization, Best Green Architecture, Architecture Governance.

In addition, iCMG will be honoring some of the outstanding achievers with "Hall of Fame awards". The nominations for the "Hall of Fame" will be submitted by the jury members only and not open for all.

Mr. Sunil Dutt Jha, CEO - iCMG, re-confirmed the seriousness of iCMG efforts by commenting "Business vision focused, Enterprise and IT Architecture efforts will be major differentiator in 2011-2013. You are doing it or you are not doing it. There is no middle path".

In continuation with the last year, even this year our jury members have demonstrated good balance between vision & practice in their workspace. In addition, we have also invited winners of 2010 edition of the awards to be part of the jury.

iCMG has also instituted the "John Zachman award for Enterprise Architecture" which will be awarded every year along with other architecture awards. Mr. John P. Zachman, VP of Marketing, Zachman International along with Mr. John A Zachman will be reviewing the nominations for this very special award. As Enterprise Architecture is gaining momentum, being seen as a strategic tool for business differentiation, it will be great opportunity to nominate and win this coveted award. However, in 2010, we felt no nomination met the benchmark set for the award hence there were no winners in the category. Hopefully, this year will get nominations which will meet the benchmark for the Oscar of Enterprise Architecture. The nomination form can be downloaded from the ArhitectPavilion.com.

If you want your hard work and achievement get noticed - a coveted award will help you to compete against brand-name companies. Earn the honor, recognition and respect you deserve. We look forward to participation from the architects, organizations and tool vendors across the globe, in this prestigious award competition.

At iCMG we look forward to recognize organizations with excellence in Enterprise & IT Architecture for delivering business value.
