The pervasiveness of connected devices enables a massive amount of people to experience content away from their desktop. Today, the mobile platform is a critical part of the marketing mix for businesses to engage the ‘always on’ consumer.

LEVEL, a Rosetta company, today announced the hiring of Daniel Blackburn as Vice President of Mobile based out of the agency’s Los Angeles studio. Blackburn will lead the agency’s mobile strategy practice, developing experiences that go beyond the desktop to connect customers with brands across multiple devices. LEVEL clients include RIM, VIZIO, Facebook and Qualcomm, among others.

Prior to joining LEVEL, Blackburn was Senior Vice President at The Hyperfactory in Los Angeles, where he was responsible for account management and strategy across their portfolio of North American clients. Blackburn began working in the mobile marketing industry during its infancy with Enpocket before its acquisition by Nokia, overseeing West Coast business development. With more than a decade of mobile and wireless strategy experience, Blackburn has collaborated with leading brands including Kraft, RIM, Toyota, MSN Mobile and Intel. He is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer at universities across Southern California on the subjects of mobile marketing and new media.
