Rev. Jesse Jackson to Speak at GNEMSDC Awards Gala Thursday Night at the Aqua Turf

Internationally acclaimed Civil Rights Leader, the Rev. Jesse Jackson will be the keynote speaker at the Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council (GNEMSDC) Awards Gala on Thursday, April 28 at the Aqua Turf in Plantsville, CT. In addition to Rev. Jackson, Senator Richard Blumenthal will be the recipient of the prestigious GNEMSDC President's Award. Joset Wright, the President and CEO of the National Minority Supplier Development Council will also be on hand for the event along with 1,000 guests. The GNEMSDC Gala recognizes the outstanding achievements of corporate members of the GNEMSDC and certified MBEs throughout the six state New England area.

On Thursday, April 28, the GNEMSDC will hold its Annual Awards Gala at the Aqua Turf in Southington, CT from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Our Keynote Speaker for this event is Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr. Rev. Jackson is an internationally recognized leader in the area of civil rights, human rights and equal opportunity. Awards will be presented to the Corporation of the Year, the Buyers of the Year, the Advocate of the Year and the Suppliers of the Year. We expect to have over 1,000 business leaders in attendance for the event.

Senator Richard Blumenthal will be on hand to receive the GNEMSDC President's Award.

Registration is required and sponsorship opportunities are available. The networking reception begins at 5:00 with dinner to follow at 6;30 PM. Black-tie is preferred.
