Most recently, Costello served as chief operating officer at Veoh Networks, joining the company just after its launch. During Costello’s tenure, Veoh went from launch to a top 200 global Web property with more than 100 employees, 28 million global monthly users and over three billion minutes of video viewed each month. Costello was a key member of the team that managed the initial product launch, marketing strategy, and day-to-day finance and operations functions as Veoh Networks quickly established itself as a leading online video company. Costello previously held the position of chief marketing officer at Akonix Systems, providing security and compliance systems for instant messaging to enterprises, with a focus on the financial services market.

Costello also served as chief executive officer at Entrypoint, an idealab! He began his career at McKinsey & Company as a consultant in their New York office serving financial, technology and media clients. Costello holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
