Budco, a leading fulfillment and direct marketing organization, announced today that it has completed its annual ISO 9001:2008 Certification renewal process, demonstrating their continued focus and dedication to delivering quality results for their clients. Additionally, all quality standards have been officially incorporated at Budco’s recently acquired New Jersey-based fulfillment center.
ISO certification demands that an organization’s quality management system demonstrates a complete and comprehensive capacity for meeting customer requirements. “Budco’s system is not only stable and mature, but also includes a number of controls and processes that should be considered best-in-class,” said Walter Thompson, Lead Assessor of Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance, who conducts Budco’s annual compliance inspections.
Budco first established their internal Quality Operating System (QOS) more than 20 years ago. It was that methodology and set of disciplined processes that laid the foundation for the organization to pursue and achieve the ISO 9001:2008 quality certification, as well as becoming PCI, GMP and HIPAA compliant.
“As Budco continues to expand its national presence, consistency in approach, practice and process become that much more critical to ensuring client success,” said Rob Hyman, Budco executive vice president of Operations. “Plus, an essential facet of our QOS discipline is continuous improvement. We do more than just put a program in place. We constantly evaluate and look for ways to do what we do better and at a lower cost. By sticking to the principles of QOS, we are able to produce consistent, predictable, sustainable levels of performance and drive continuous improvement for our clients’ business.”
