Today in London, John Adam, Business Development Manager for DEZZ Ltd., detailed the key characteristics of the new company’s service. Speaking at the company’s Notting Hill offices, Adam outlined why the company has chosen to initially focus upon the green economy and why they believe in the product being offered.
Initially focusing on the company’s product, Adam described the leads generation service as ‘providing leads to companies which match, and we believe, surpass, the quality of pay per click generated leads, at a lower cost’. Adam outlined the reason why so many companies use pay per click lead generation as their preferred marketing approach.
‘Pay per click’s primary advantage is that it is purely return on investment orientated. It is the most targeted sales marketing channel. When a company invests in pay per click marketing, they are reaching potential clients that are actively looking for the product or service being advertised, in real time. It is not passive like print or media advertising. When managed effectively, money is only spent on potential clients actively searching online for what you are offering. This means that companies offering a niche product or service do not have to pay to hit an audience of which only a small percentage are their potential clients’.
The leads that DEZZ generates, Adam explained, possess all of those characteristics. They are generated by direct searches and requests for information on a particular product or service. DEZZ is able to provide these leads to companies for significantly less than what they would pay for the same lead via pay per click advertising, as they come via DEZZ’s stable of websites, rather than pay per click.
Adam states that their analytics show that leads generated via their websites are better quality than pay per click generated leads as the potential client is more considered and less spontaneous when requesting information via a quality website, rather than landing page. Often users come back a number of times before making the enquiry, which does not happen with pay per click. Leads from DEZZ are always very targeted. “We act with integrity which benefits our long term success and our clients as well as our users. If someone requests information on investment opportunities in forestry, they will only receive that kind of information. We will not abuse their confidence by recycling their details or providing them with information on other areas”. This approach, Adam believes, insures both the quality of the lead for the end client, as well as the happiness of the user. “They only get information they have specifically requested”.
DEZZ’s portfolio of lead generating websites is currently limited to the green investment or green economy sphere. Adam displayed the network of sites to those present, which include several websites in separate industries such as carbon credits and carbon offsetting, renewable energy investment, forestry and timber investments, and more general sites detailing the range of investment opportunities in the sphere more broadly.
Adam described how the choice of market area for DEZZ to initially enter, was based on two main criteria. Firstly, the fact that sustainable investment choices and the green economy is a rapidly growing sector of the economy and that as it grows, the company can grow with it. Secondly, the lack of good quality information out there for potential investors to make informed choices on many of the choices available to them.
“We noticed that too much of the informational sources out there were purely sales orientated. This means that information is presented in often a very one-dimensional way. We believe that there are many great investments out there in the green economy sector, but also that potential investors need good quality objective market information and general tips to help them make informed choices and sort out the good from the bad. Our sites aim to provide a higher quality of information from a broader point of view and stand potential investors in good stead to make informed choices based on their own circumstances”.
Adam believes long-term approach will ensure the increasing quality of leads that DEZZ is able to provide to reputable companies in the sector. “By maintaining our objectivity and the quality of information provided, we will continue to grow the base of visitors to our sites and the legitimacy of the sites’ authority, which will only improve the quality of leads which they generate”.
Adam went on to outline that DEZZ’s network of website’s would with time to cover other investment areas in the way it currently does with investment opportunities in the green economy.
