The National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN) has launched a Texas chapter, the Texas Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. The Texas Academy is an invitation-only statewide association whose membership consists of mediators and arbitrators distinguished by their hands-on experience in the field of civil/commercial conflict resolution and by their commitment to the practice of alternative dispute resolution.
Don Philbin is one of just 47 attorneys and judges to be inducted as Charter Members of the Academy. Philbin has also been appointed to the Texas Academy’s four-person Executive Committee. According to Executive Director Darren Lee, “Membership to the Academy is by invitation-only, with a strict peer-nomination vote and extensive client-interview vetting procedure, intended to ensure that only the top 5-10% of qualifying practitioners in each state are invited to join NADN.”
