Palo Alto, CA (Vocus/PRWEB) January 14, 2011

Ansca Mobile is proud to announce that Robert Nay’s BubbleBall has reached the #1 spot in the Apple App Store, displacing the wildly popular Angry Birds Seasons. This is Robert’s first foray into app development and he chose Ansca's Corona SDK mobile development platform for its powerful and unique characteristics.

Robert, who hails from Spanish Fork, UT, started developing BubbleBall with a competing development framework, but quickly realized that Corona SDK’s flexibility, ease of use and powerful features gave him much more freedom to create a mobile game characterized by its fun and addictive game play.

Approved by Apple two weeks ago, BubbleBall has been steadily climbing the charts and was named the App of the Week in the Corona SDK app showcase on January 9. Since then its popularity has skyrocketed, culminating in its #1 spot on January 13, 2011.

We wholeheartedly congratulate Robert on his fantastic initial success and we are eagerly looking forward to his future creations. We can't wait until he gets a little more experience under his belt and really unleashes the power of Corona SDK! Congratulations Robert, well done!
