On August 2nd of 2007, a massive fire destroyed a 160,000 sq. ft. family owned manufacturing facility, Keystone Foam of Derry, PA, a small town east of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. One hundred firefighters from twelve fire companies in Westmoreland County battled the blaze. Though the fire destroyed the building and its contents, no one was injured and the company rapidly set-up a temporary workplace within weeks of the disaster.
