Cablevision Systems Corp. (NYSE: CVC) today announced the addition of FOX Soccer Channel and FOX Soccer Plus to its free HD line-up. FOX Soccer Channel is available on channel 142 as part of the iO TV digital programming package, and FOX Soccer Plus is available on channel 461 for iO Sports Pak subscribers. Cablevision makes it easy for customers to locate HD programming, by automatically directing high-definition set-top boxes to the HD feeds of channels, when they are available. For CableCARD customers, the HD channel position of FOX Soccer Channel is 797 and FOX Soccer Plus is available on 798.
FOX Soccer Channel offers the most comprehensive multi-media coverage of world-class soccer available in the United States. FOX Soccer channel is the primary television destination in the U.S. for elite club competitions including England’s Barclays Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
