Named in the Top 50 Medium-sized Companies

Pentec Health, Inc. today announced it has been recognized by 100 Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania as one of the top 50 places to work in the medium-sized company category. Along with another 50 companies in the large company category, a total of 100 companies will be honored in the state. Created in 2000, the award was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places to be employed in Pennsylvania, benefiting the state's economy, its workforce, and businesses.

To qualify for the award, companies complete a two-part process, one by the employer and the other by employees. The first part evaluates each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems, and demographics. The second part consists of an in-depth employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Pentec Health’s exact ranking will be made public in the third quarter. Results and rankings will be simultaneously published by the Central Penn Business Journal and posted online at bestplacestoworkinpa.com.

“Our employees make this company tick. Because of their honest feedback and thorough assessment, Pentec Health has achieved this honor. We are proud of their hard work and dedication, and for taking the time to depict the company in such a positive manner,” said Joseph Cosgrove, President and CEO of Pentec Health. “Their continued feedback will allow us to sustain the desirable work environment that together we have created.”

The Best Places to Work in PA program is a public/private partnership between Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Central Penn Business Journal. Pentec Health will be recognized at the Best Places to Work in PA awards banquet on Thursday, December 1, at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster, PA.
