Sierra Tucson’s “Gratitude for Giving” Breakfast Honors South Florida Clinical Professionals

Sierra Tucson, an international leader in the treatment of addictions, mental health issues, and pain management, celebrates professional clinicians in the South Florida area who make a difference through their work and dedication. Over 125 professionals will gather to honor colleagues who have been nominated and selected by fellow clinicians to receive Recognition Awards in six special categories.

Sierra Tucson’s ‘Gratitude for Giving’ Breakfast is a way to celebrate the work of these incredible people in the South Florida area and the miracles they help create every day.

On Friday, October 7, 2011, Sierra Tucson will host the second annual South Florida “Gratitude for Giving” Breakfast to recognize clinical professionals and others for their considerable contributions to the South Florida community. The breakfast and ceremony will be held from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. at The Ritz-Carlton, 1 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Over 125 attendees are expected to join this celebration to pay tribute to their peers. Media are invited to attend free of charge.

The following individuals will be recognized for their years of service to others:

Compassion Recognition – Joann Hendelman, Ph.D.

Hope Recognition – Johanna Kandel

Humility Recognition – Susan Kleinman, BC-DMT

Spirit Recognition – Amy Boyers, Ph.D.

Vision Recognition – Lynn Guelzow, CAPP

Gratitude Recognition – Nancy Steiner, R.N.
