Nobody likes losing money and when you realise you’ve bought something online without going through Quidco first...
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 3 October 2011
Earning money back on online purchases is easy for the UK’s 2.5 million cashback site users. However, almost all have missed out on money once or twice by forgetting to check for cashback and shopping direct. To solve this, Quidco has launched a new tool, the Quidco Toolbar, which will stop members from forgetting in future.
The Quidco toolbar, once installed on the user’s computer, will identify when they are on a retailer’s website and alert them that cashback is available at that retailer via Quidco. By clicking on the toolbar, they can enter their Quidco log in details and then carry on the purchase as normal. The purchase will then track in their Quidco account.
Hannah Green at Quidco said, “Nobody likes losing money and when you realise you’ve bought something online without going through Quidco first, it feels just like that. While we’d prefer that Quidco was always front of mind, our new toolbar will help when you forget by reminding users of Quidco when they’re on sites such as Best Buy, Tesco, House of Fraser and thetrainline.com. They can then sign in to Quidco and claim their cashback without having to leave the page they’re on.”
The toolbar is available for users of Chrome and Firefox browsers and can be downloaded at http://www.quidco.com/toolbar/. Of the 3,000 retailers offering cashback with Quidco, over 1,000 have so far opted in to the toolbar so the potential savings could be £100s per year for Quidco users. More will be added over time.
