SensaSlim: Multi-Million Euro distribution deal in Asia signed

An announcement by SensaSlim Asia CEO Stephen Kao on SensaSlim's expansion plans in Asia amidst reports of SensaSlim usage by models at fashion shows.

SensaSlim Suisse Limited, the manufacturer of the revolutionary SensaSlim Slimming Spray, has signed a multi-million Euro distribution deal that will see the introduction into Asia of the breakthrough slimming product amidst concerns being raised at the increasing usage among models at fashion shows globally. SensaSlim Asia CEO Stephen Kao said the expansion into Asia was a natural progression for the Swiss health care company given that obesity affects every race, in both genders, and in all ages. "Obesity is a major concern throughout Asia," Mr Kao said "It has been rising at an alarming rate and given the large population in China, and India, it is seen as a very lucrative market." Recently UNICEF China expressed concerns of the sharp rise in weight amongst Chinese school children and has started weight management programs in urban areas.

As the Fashion Week moves to London, the models appetite for SensaSlim seems insatiable, and this has worried some in the industry. Erin O’Connor, the super model and founder of the Model Sanctuary is one who urges caution. The Model Sanctuary, housed by a full-time nutritionist and psychologist, is a safe, confidential place where models can discuss issues relating to the modelling world such as eating disorders, stress and self-esteem problems. At the London house, over a thousand models have walked through the doors.

“The talk this year amongst the boys and girls is all about the SensaSlim Slimming Spray and they are describing it as a model’s miracle,” Erin said. The Model Sanctuary's resident nutritionist Alli Godbold warned that models must not survive solely on the slimming spray. “I caution the models to eat regularly to ensure a good level of energy,” she said. “I tell them they must eat a good breakfast with protein such as egg, smoked salmon, yoghurt, nuts and seeds, as this will keep you going until lunch time.”

SensaSlim is being hailed as the world’s most successful weight loss product and totally revolutionary in so far as it desensitizes the taste buds. This was achieved by the use of some of the most thoroughly researched ingredients over the past 20 years including:

  •         Levocarnitine
  •         Chromium Nicotinate
  •         Gymnema Sylvestre
  •         Camellia Sinensis (green tea leaf extract)
  •         Hydroxycitric Acid (from Garcinia Cambogia fruit)

The product works on a mechanism similar to the one in a study, published in the 'International Journal of Obesity and Clinical Nutrition', which says our taste buds could be the key to obesity and builds on the discovery last year of a sixth taste that is responsive to the fat content of foods.
