Converge Consulting Announces a Live Chat Series with Higher Education Marketing Industry Thought Leaders.

Converge Consulting (http://www.convergeconsulting.org/) is proud to announce the launch of a live chat series, Friday After Class, in which higher education industry experts will engage audience members in a discussion of tips, resources, and strategies related to smart marketing in higher education. Topics will include (but, not be limited to) web content strategy, social media strategy, web analytics strategy, etc. The sessions will be hosted on the Converge web site and can be accessed at http://www.convergeconsulting.org/fac/.

The first Friday After Class session will occur at 1:00 p.m. CST on Friday, October 7, 2011. The host will be Georgy Cohen. She will discuss the role of content strategy pertaining to college and university web sites. Georgy is the manager of web content and strategy at Tufts University, where she oversees a range of content creation and strategy initiatives involving the university website, online news, social media, and multimedia. She is also co-founder of Meet Content (http://meetcontent.com/blog/), a blog and resource that aims to empower higher education to create and sustain web content that works. Georgy is a frequent speaker, writer, and consultant on topics related to web content and digital communications.

Audience members can participate in Friday After Class either through the comment feature on http://www.convergeconsulting.org/fac/, or by using the Twitter hashtag #FAC during the event. Each session will last for approximately 30 minutes.
