The two year online program leads to a specialization in Alternative Psychotherapies

Eisner Institute for Professional Studies (EIPS) announces the launch of an Alternative Psychotherapies Doctoral (Psy.D.) Program. The program is entirely online with no residency requirements. The entire program can be completed in two years.

A mental health professional can expand their practice beyond traditional psychotherapeutic modalities. Courses include: Intuitive Counseling, Past Lives Regression Therapy, Energy Psychology, Mind, Body and Consciousness, Spirituality and Mental Health.

EIPS has several 100% online California Board of Behavior Sciences (BBS) approved programs that lead to licensure. There is a two year online Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) and Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) track.

Additionally, there are Doctoral specializations in forensic psychology, spiritual psychology, clinical psychology, holistic psychology, health psychology and clinical geropsychology.

Donald A. Eisner Ph.D., J.D. Dean of EIPS states that “There are major advantages to an 100% online program. First, there is no residency requirements We have small classes, asynchronous posting which means a student can post during the day or night.”

Additionally there is no thesis, but rather a final or Capstone project. The final project is either a research proposal or a position paper. We strive to accommodate the working adult and mid-career professional.

EIPS has a rolling admission- 4 starts year. There is no GRE or other tests required for admission. The cost per unit is quite reasonable.
