About the Author
Minister Maxine Smith began her ministry in Detroit, Michigan. Jesus Christ came into her life in April 1974, and she was ordained September 1975. With an overwhelming desire to touch and uplift those in crises, her Metropolitan Jail Ministry began. She ministered to people on the streets, in the down town area of the city. For fifteen years she ministered love, and comforted patients in the Detroit General Hospital’s trauma units. She still continues to share this message of love, through her ministry in writings and guest speaking.
