It’s no trick. Facebook users are in for a treat this Halloween month as global online accommodation specialist Wotif.com are set to give away thousands of dollars in accommodation vouchers through its popular Facebook game, Wotslots.
Starting today, global Facebook users will be able to play Wotslots, Wotif.com’s online slots game hosted on Facebook, to win vouchers that they can redeem on http://www.Wotif.com for accommodation bookings. Only followers of the company’s WotifG2G Twitter account will be told the exact time and date the competition will end.
“We first launched Wotslots this year for the month of May as a fun way of interacting with our fans and giving something back to our customers,” said James Coulbault, Wotif.com’s Brand General Manager for EMEA and the Americas. “The game rapidly became very popular, with 2,800 unique players – many of whom were repeat players – and over 200 winners claiming more than US$6,500 worth of hotel vouchers.”
“This time, to celebrate the Halloween month we’ll be giving away up to US$10,000 worth of vouchers through Wotslots. With people all around the world celebrating Halloween with hotel parties or booking a getaway before Christmas, we expect our accommodation vouchers will come in very useful in October,” he added.
All Facebook users will be able to play Wotslots, but only @WotifG2G Twitter followers will receive regular updates on the game. Accommodation vouchers of different values will be up for grabs in multiple currencies such as British Pounds, Euros, Rand and both US and Canadian Dollars.
