Veterans One Resource, Inc. raffles Shelby Cobra to benefit OIF and OEF veterans and their families.

Veterans One Resource, Inc. (VOR), will raffle a 1965 Superformance Mark III Shelby Cobra. Money raised from the raffle will go towards scholarships for veterans and help fund VOR initiatives. VOR’s primary mission is to assist transitioning veterans and their families from military to civilian life. The raffle will take place on Jan. 11, 2012 at 12 p.m. at 6865 Deerpath Road Suite 101 Elkridge, MD 21075.

Tickets went on sale at midnight on Sept. 22. The 1965 low-mileage mint condition Shelby is valued at $150,000. “This is a great opportunity for people from around the country to support veterans and their families and have a chance to win an amazing prize. I recently had the opportunity to ride in this gorgeous vehicle and I was thoroughly impressed,” said, COL (retired) Paul Arneson, co-founder of Veterans One Resource, Inc.

Raffle proceeds will be used to fund Project VETS (Veterans Educated in Trading Skills) scholarships. Project VETS is a Program of Veterans One Resource, Inc. which promotes dignity through self reliance in the financial markets by providing educational grants to qualified, disabled veterans who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. The scholarships may also benefit their spouses and families as well.

Ticket sales are limited for this raffle. Tickets cost $100 and can be purchased online at http://www.ProjectVets.com until 5 p.m. on Jan. 10, 2012.
