Alex Charfen, CEO of the Charfen Institute and author of the Certified Distressed Property Expert designation, announced today the launch of a multi-faceted campaign among CDPE designated agents nationwide, to change the course for tens of thousands of homeowners headed toward foreclosure.

“For homeowners facing foreclosure, the holiday season doesn’t represent a slowdown; it’s a time of heightened anxiety and uncertainty, and that’s why now is a critical time to reach out to the market every day with a consistent message of hope and a fresh start,” Charfen said. "Too often, financially strapped homeowners don’t know where to turn and who to trust and as a result, allow their home slip into foreclosure without reaching out for help," Charfen added.

The recent spike in foreclosures stands to swell the ranks of the 6.3 million homeowners who are already in some phase of the foreclosure process.

No stranger to exponential business growth, based on a ranking of No. 21 on the 2011 Inc. 500 List of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies and a three-year growth rate of 8,007%, Charfen’s message to CDPE agents is clear: “commit to a laser-sharp focus during the fourth quarter.”

“Heading into the holiday season, the majority of real estate professionals anticipate a slowdown and adjust their activities accordingly,” Charfen observed. “Those who leverage market-leading resources to become more disciplined and more determined, stand to change the entire growth trajectory of their business.”

CDPE agents who sign on for the Fourth Quarter Year-End Launch gain access to a strategic package of support that is divided into distinct activities and targeted resources every day.

“The potential of this campaign cannot be underestimated,” Charfen said. "The prospect of helping one just family to avoid foreclosure is extremely powerful and collectively, over the next three months, CDPE agents are positioned to reverse the course for tens of thousands families, while saving neighborhoods, communities, and our country, from the blight more foreclosed properties on the landscape.”
