Journalists and Investigators Unlikely Buyers of New Business Software

Mastercheck delayed their international launch to become the first reseller of an innovative list creation software program, released today. Originally designed for small business and companies to quickly create customer lists, there are a growing number of industries seeking the software to reduce valuable time spent searching for client contact information. Journalists and Private Investigators are among the top purchasers outside of the originally intended market of ‘business professionals’.

Mastercheck, a professional Editing, Writing and English language service were planning their corporatization and launch in the U.S. and U.K. when the owner, Matthew Reynolds met Murray Barnes then cancelled the launch to promote his software. “We were honestly days away from launching when I met Murray, who told me he was working on the new software,” said Mr Reynolds. “At first I wasn’t too excited because Murray simply said it was a ‘list creator’. Then when he explained that the list could be localized, and was created in seconds, returning the business name, street address, website address, and phone number of hundreds of results on one page; then I was convinced the product was innovative.” Mr Reynolds explains that after the list is created, results are exported to a CSV file where they can be easily ‘mail-merged’ and printed.

Although a simple concept, until now businesses were either faced with conducting time-consuming searches for contact leads, or employing professional list makers to research and collate contact information. While there are a small number of other list creators on the market, these are complicated, inaccurate, or expensive.

“The idea was to get an accurate and affordable product on the market, which people could place on their laptop and easily use from anywhere,” said Mr Barnes, “The program works really well and we’re already working on updates which current users can install on this version.” Mr Barnes says he originally thought the software, Hot Prospects, would be used in telemarketing, small business and sales departments of large organizations but now reports, “there is growing interest by freelance journalists, entire newspapers, private investigators and individual business owners, all wishing to minimize time creating contact lists.”

Hot Prospects creates lists of any businesses or institutions, based on locality, by searching the internet using multiple retrieval techniques. The program may be purchased through the Mastercheck website by downloading the software directly, or bought in multiple hard copy disks at a reduced rate, which is attractive for large companies seeking greater efficiency by their employees. An added bonus for business travellers is that it functions in any language, making finding that special present abroad, or any business listing overseas, much easier.

Mr Reynolds explained he would sell the product at below retail price as an introductory courtesy to any future prospective clients, making bulk purchases through his website the cheapest in the world. He adds, “We’re very proud to be the world’s first authorized re-seller of this innovative software, and in providing the technology for our prospective clients.” When asked how long he intended providing the discounted product he replied, “If the positive comments continue, we will most certainly continue selling the product to anyone at the cheapest price in the world when Mastercheck launches internationally.”

Individuals, companies and associations interested in the product may view multimedia, and purchase through the Mastercheck website at: http://www.mastercheck.net
