San Pedro, CA (PRWEB) October 05, 2011
In 2012, the Boys & Girls Club of Los Angeles Harbor will celebrate 75 years of success enriching the lives of future leaders. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Los Angeles Harbor (previously known as the Boys Club of San Pedro and the Boys Club of Wilmington) have made a difference in the lives of thousands of Los Angeles youth--from toddlers to teenagers. On the milestone of their 75th Anniversary, the Boys & Girls Club of Los Angeles Harbor is reaching out to its alumni.
“The true measure of our success is the achievements made by our alumni,” said Gary Bettis, chairman of the 75th anniversary committee.
“We have Club alumni who are military veterans, those who have gone on to college and have thriving careers, and some who have stayed in San Pedro leading productive lives with their own families. We want to hear from every one of our alumni and the great things they have been doing with their lives.”
Bettis says that having a few good success stories is just the beginning. Key to the success of the 75th anniversary celebration is the involvement of all alumni who will be acknowledged in many special events throughout the year.
