From author Daralyn Brody comes an amusing tale that will entertain readers from beginning to end. ALEX AND THE NEW SHELL introduces a little hermit crab who has an adventure of a lifetime while searching for a new home.
In the deep blue ocean, Alex the hermit crab is having one crappy day. He has outgrown his shell and needs to find a new, bigger one—or else, he’ll end up as someone’s lunch. When a storm develops, Alex gets bumped against an oyster, accidentally knocking out its pearl which Alex then needs to find and return to its owner. Along the way, he meets new friends who help him in his adventures. Will he find the runaway pearl? Can he find a perfect new shell-home?
Brody invites readers to follow Alex as he braves the big sea to find a tiny pearl and a new home in ALEX AND THE NEW SHELL.
