After 10 years working almost exclusively with Dell servers and storage, xByte Technologies is excited to expand their reach by opening a new division focused on IBM X, I, and P series servers. This new division will allow xByte to offer their 24 hour delivery, world class customer service, and years of industry experience to a whole new audience. During the month of October, xByte will be giving away tickets to a football game to celebrate the “kickoff” of this new division.

Andrew Ripley is the the lead Product Manager for the new IBM division. He has 15 years of experience in the IT industry with over 7 years working with IBM. Prior to xByte, he worked for Midland Information Systems where he helped to expand their reach into international markets and opened Midland’s first new server division. When asked about his experience with IBM, Ripley responded “Big blue and I go way back. I’ve been there for the AS400, RS600, System x and everything in between.” With his years of experience and xByte as an Authorized IBM Partner, Ripley has helped xByte’s Dell certified engineers to work towards their IBM certifications in eCommerce, Sales, and Services.

xByte has seen revenues grow by almost 50 percent this year and expects continued growth with the addition of the new IBM division. “We have an amazing team here at xByte and there is no limit to where we can go,” says Tom Santilli, CEO and founder of xByte Technologies. He expects this to be the first of many expansions over next two years. As the company grows, Santilli’s motto of “treating customers like you want to be treated as a customer” helps ensure every strategic move is always to benefit their customers.

xByte Technologies (http://www.xbyte.com) is a premier reseller of IT equipment with a history of quality service for nearly 10 years. They specialize in servers, storage, and parts for Dell and IBM.
