Casey Trees has released the fall/winter 2011 schedule for Tree Talk Thursdays, a free online chat series that highlights issues relevant to D.C.’s tree canopy and answers specific tree questions posed by the general public.
The chat forum, hosted on Casey Trees’ website, airs on the second Thursday of every month from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. EST. The fall/winter program begins on Oct. 13 with a discussion on landscaping design techniques and tree species that attract wildlife, featuring Brian Mayell, nursery manager at Casey Trees Farm in Berryville, Va.
Individuals can participate in live sessions or replay past chats at http://www.caseytrees.org/treetalkthursdays. Questions are accepted prior to and during the chat session. To submit a question in advance or suggest a topic, email treedc(at)caseytrees(dot)org.
