From his high school days at Mount Carmel to winning the NBA Championship with the Miami Heat, 3 Time NBA All-Star Antoine Walker has had a journey unlike any other. On Monday, October 10th he shares that journey with Chicago’s newest hit television show Sports City Chicago (http://www.sportscitychicago.com) in front of a live audience at Hard Rock Cafe Chicago (http://www.hardrock.com/chicago).

Filmed live on the Hard Rock Cafe Chicago Stage and airing on NBC Chicago Nonstop, Emmy Award winning reporter Mitch Robinson will take audience members though Walker’s journey growing up in Chicago, his college years at the University of Kentucky and his 3 time All-Star career in the NBA. Co-Host Lauren Strec will navigate fan questions during a designated “break out session” at the end of the show.

Show creator and executive producer Jason Groh explains, “Having three time All-Star and NBA Champion Antoine Walker is very exciting. We look forward to telling his story and learning about his journey.” Groh elaborates, “Sports City Chicago gives you the inside stories with full online and live audience interaction that you can’t get anywhere else in Chicago sports.”

Sports City Chicago also highlights local bands and live performers. Playing audience members in and out of segments will be musical guest “Band Called Catch.”
