Integrated Research (ASX:IRI), developer of market-leading Prognosis® performance and availability management solutions for unified communications (UC), announced today that it has been selected by INX’s Managed Services to power their SureVideo support services for Cisco TelePresence deployments.

Already using Prognosis to power their SureVoice support service for more than seven years, INX is now able to consolidate management into a single platform, thereby significantly improving their ability to meet stringent service levels, improve problem resolution times, and ensure that their customers' strategic IT projects have successful outcomes.

INX, a highly decorated Cisco partner with Master Certifications in Managed Services, TelePresence, Unified Communications and Security, provides professional and managed services for government, education, enterprise and commercial clients.

They needed a solution that would provide proactive insight into their customers' critical IT investments, Cisco TelePresence video-conferencing systems, to make certain they were notified of service impacting issues as well as being able to collect and report on numerous performance and availability metrics. For a client's global Cisco TelePresence environment covering oil and gas facilities across the world, Prognosis for Cisco TelePresence was the correct choice.

Gary Derheim, Vice President, INX Managed Services said, “We have been managing unified communications with Prognosis for many years and were very comfortable with its ability to help us exceed our objectives while ensuring a quality customer experience. We evaluated many solutions and we chose Prognosis as it could empower us with a technical advantage, it allowed us to bring our services to market more quickly through ease of deployment and extensive out of the box capabilities, and Prognosis was capable of providing an entire ecosystem view because it leverages metrics from Cisco Unified Communications Manager. Given our long-standing relationship, we trusted Integrated Research (IR) in their ability to go above and beyond to help us meet our business and technical goals."

Paul McNamara, Head of Product Management, Unified Communications at IR says, “Prognosis solutions for Unified Communications provide life-cycle management to identify and resolve issues before they affect business or customers. The rapid adoption of enterprise immersive video services is dramatically changing the landscape of how organizations collaborate internally as well as with external business partners. Video collaboration benefits can not be achieved if real-time services are not available or performing well. Prognosis enables INX to deliver a high quality Managed TelePresence offering, which ensures their clients’ business objectives are achieved and their technology return on investment is maximized.”
